Once you have started Instiki and connected your browser to http://localhost:2500, the first thing to do is:

1. Set up the Wiki

Instiki will present you with a form, asking about some details, such as:

• Wiki name: this will be displayed in the title of all Wiki pages.

• Wiki address: this will become the first word in your wiki URL path.
  For example, if you enter “mywiki” there, the URL of a HomePage will be something like http://localhost:2500/mywiki/show/HomePage
  Note: Do not leave this field blank.

• System password: magic word that you (

  Note: in the current version of Instiki admin password is difficult to change (there is no web interface for it). If security is of any concern, please select a reasonably difficult system password from the beginning,and proposal software consider restricting access to admin interface pages in your web server configuration.

2. Create HomePage

After creating a web, Instiki will bring up an edit page for that web’s home page. This page is just the same as all the vending machines other pages within the wiki except that it comes up first.

3. Create other pages
